The Republic is seeking freelance talented, creative and experienced artists (illustrators, painters, draughtsmen etc.) with unique styles, to create original artwork to be featured in our forthcoming print issue, Voting for Our Lives.
The artist will use their drawing, painting and/or illustration skills to bring to life the concept of voting and the upcoming 2023 elections. The art should capture the mood of the country, the people, the candidates or whatever angle of the elections and voting you choose to explore.
All candidates are welcome to submit artworks, but we are looking for creatives with a genuine interest in The Republic, especially who we publish and what we publish.

Cover: ₦200,000
Featured within magazine: ₦50,000
Selected artists will also work with our Art Director to edit and refine their art if needed.
