Kome Otobo
is a storyteller from Nigeria. In September 2022, she published her first non-fiction book, Nigerian Gods, with Malthouse Press. The book offers a retrospective examination of the intersection and friction between religion, politics and culture in Nigerian society. She also writes non-fiction essays, fiction short stories and poetry that explore the liminal spaces of life and love. Otobo is widely read.
