Chikodili Emelumadu

has made a few ‘Best of’ lists, and has been nominated for a few awards, most notably the Caine Prize for African Literature (twice), the Shirley Jackson awards (once) and the Nommo awards (also once), culminating in her winning the Curtis Brown First Novel prize in 2019 with an excerpt for Dazzling. She lives in the UK with her children and guinea pigs and can be found bellowing about books and whatnot on chikodiliemelumadu (Instagram) and @chemelumadu (Twitter).
